Olympus High School, Holladay, Utah
This project is part of the Olympus High School Renovation project for Granite School District. This Myrtha technology competition pool has 8 - 25 yard lanes with water depths from 7’-0” to 9’-0”. The intent of the design is to provide a highly competitive pool to accommodate not only elite level swimmers, but provide a facility that supports the strong water polo program Granite School District enjoys.
The pool is constructed with PVC coated stainless steel technology and has a deck level gutter to ensure the dampening of wave action that may occur. There is a state of the art timing system with 8 lane display and swimming and water polo software. ADA accessibility was a priority, not only for the pool but the entire facility. The stadium seating provides adequate space for spectators to cheer on their favorite team.
